A: The website migration service provided by US PC Help is entirely free and consists of transferring all your files, databases and e–mails from your current web hosting provider to your new hosting account with us. We’ll also update all the configuration settings required for your web sites to be completely functional on our super–modern cloud hosting platform.Our techs are completely capable of moving any type of site. With years of experience in the industry, they are well–versed in the inner workings of our web hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other famous Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–built web application with numerous custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a simple WordPress weblog.

A: We strive to carry out all web site migrations as fast as possible. However, we do not have a set time frame for website migrations. There are different aspects that you have to take into consideration – the sheer size of your web site and the workload of our web site migration staff, etc. We always try to perform each migration in under 48 hours. With less sizeable websites, our team usually manages to finish in under 24 hours.

A: Yep. We will require the name of the website that you wish us to move. We will also need a means to log into your present web hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your web site.

A: While we move your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. After that, we will instruct you how to move the domain name to your hosting account with us and how to edit the DNS records.

A: While we transfer your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t touch base with them in any way.

A: Yes. We support all conventional Linux–based hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–driven hosting platforms, as we don’t provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary website building and management user interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
